Overview
I was part of the design team that was tasked with redesigning the packaging and product visualization for the French shampoo brand “Le petit Marseillais”. My role involved creating several iterations of the packaging label and a complete 3D template for product shots, as well as some social media advertising posts. The goal of the project was to modernize the brand and make it more appealing to consumers.
Challenges
During the design process, I faced several challenges that I had to overcome. One of the main challenges was finding a balance between modernizing the brand while still maintaining its essence. I had to ensure that the new design was still recognizable as “Le petit Marseillais” while making it more appealing to consumers. Another challenge was creating a 3D template for product shots that was versatile enough to be used for a variety of advertising purposes. This required me to have a deep understanding of product photography and lighting, as well as a strong technical skill set in 3D modeling software although the final result was mostly done with photo manipulation techniques.
Despite these challenges, I was able to successfully complete the project, and the final results were well received by the brand and its customers. The new packaging design was eye-catching and memorable, while the 3D template for product shots allowed for high-quality images to be used in advertising. The social media advertising posts were also well received, helping to increase brand recognition and reach a wider audience. Overall, it was a great experience to be part of such a successful project and I am proud of the work I contributed to.
